The Secure Digital Scan Card 3E (SDSC 3E), from Socket Communications turns any
Palm PDA or Pocket PC 2003 device with an SDIO slot into a mobile barcode scanner. This
tiny barcode scanner improves productivity and eliminates errors for all mobile
professionals performing extensive data entry tasks.
The SDSC 3E needs no external power supply; it utilizes the battery of the host device,
allowing hours of operation. The SDSC 3E includes SocketScan software to add Prefix and/or
Suffix functions to further eliminate manual keystrokes and assign beep tone for
successful scan notification.
